This is my favorite part of writing. By a long shot. There's nothing quite like that adrenaline-induced frenzy. That flow of ideas tossed onto the white of a blank screen (or page). The incessant chatter of characters inside your head.
Just thinking about it gets my heart racing.
Then again...after the first draft comes revisions. But I'll save that for later.
What about you? Do you love the rush of the first draft? How do you approach it? Do you write all the way through, from beginning to end, without looking back or edit as you go?
