I wend to Stanley Park
To put squirrels in my notebook
My teacher said;
Write everything you found out
About squirrels
And so I will
I saw a fat one
Shaped like a peanut butter jar
Attacking my hat
His moustache was made of chips
He ran sideways into the sky
He looked like a ginger cat
With a branch for a tail
He was so mad he ran down again
And I can’t write
What he said to me
Lucky for me I had a sandwich
To share with him
He smiled at me till his teeth
Weren’t hungry
And jumped into the sky
With his jammy legs
He turned to a kite.
